Preschool & Early Childhood Gymnastics Programs

Our Preschool and Early Childhood programs introduce young children to movement, coordination, and confidence in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Through age-appropriate activities and guided instruction, children develop foundational skills while building a positive relationship with physical activity.

EGA offers progressive early childhood programs designed to support physical, social, and cognitive development. Classes are structured to meet children where they are, with an emphasis on safe exploration, listening skills, coordination, and confidence-building. As your child grows and gets older, they will naturally age into the next group.

Below is an overview of our Preschool & Early Childhood class options. Class schedules and availability are viewed and managed through our Parent Portal.

Parent & Tot

Ages: Typically 16 months – 3 1/2 years

Parent & Tot classes are designed to introduce young children to movement in a supportive and engaging environment alongside a parent or caregiver. Activities focus on basic motor skills, balance, climbing, and coordination using age-appropriate gymnastics equipment.
This class helps children gain comfort in the gym while strengthening parent-child interaction and confidence.

Preschool Gymnastics

Ages: Typically 3 1/2 – 5 years

Preschool Gymnastics classes encourage independence while continuing to develop coordination, balance, and strength. Children participate in structured circuits and activities that introduce basic gymnastics skills through creative and engaging instruction.
Classes emphasize listening skills, following directions, and positive social interaction in a fun group setting.

Pre-K / Kindergarten Readiness Gymnastics

Ages: Typically 4 1/2 – 6 years

Pre-K and Kindergarten Readiness classes build on preschool fundamentals while preparing children for more structured recreational gymnastics. Athletes develop improved strength, coordination, and focus while learning introductory skills on floor, bars, beam, and vault.
This level supports a smooth transition into Recreational Gymnastics programs.
